Pavliani village lies at the high altitude of Oiti mountain surrounded by beautiful fir forests. This house location is at a prominent hill of the village edge with outstanding views to Oiti mountain and is a country for winter and summer.
It has 2 floors and 2 master bedrooms for 2 couples (parents and children) and a guest house. The 2 master bedrooms are located at the second floor and have individual staircase access. All spaces are arranged around a central double height interior atrium that gives climatic balance to the house: allowing air movement with east-west cross ventilation and buoyancy to air extraction at the top windows, and central heating the space with fireplace during the winter.
The building consists of mixed high thermal mass materials mainly: reinforced concrete for the structural elements, double masonry bricks with internal insulation and external local limestone cladding or raw concrete at cases, aluminium windows and galvanized external door. The roof consists of ceramic tiles enclosed by concrete sloping slab and elements.
